During fertilizer production, storage, and transportation, fertilizer in ton bags is prone to clumping due to factors like compression and moisture. Traditional manual disassembly and crushing is not only inefficient but also creates dust pollution. Our Ton Bag Crusher, with its built-in cross-conical blade design, can directly crush entire bags of fertilizer, providing fertilizer companies with an efficient and clean solution.
The equipment’s core advantages lie in its dual-dimensional “efficient bag breaking + precise crushing.” The cross-conical blades are forged from a high-strength alloy with a hardness exceeding HRC60. Four sets of blades are radially distributed. Once the ton bag enters the crushing chamber, the blades quickly pierce the bag and penetrate deep into the clumping. The high-speed rotation (adjustable to 500-800 rpm) generates shear and impact forces, breaking large fertilizer lumps up to 30 cm in diameter into particles smaller than 5 mm, with a crushing uniformity exceeding 95%. Compared to traditional equipment that requires manual bag unpacking before crushing, this design increases processing efficiency by more than three times, allowing a single unit to process 8-12 tons of fertilizer bags per hour.
The equipment has been optimized in multiple ways to meet the specific characteristics of fertilizers: the crushing chamber features a fully enclosed design, coupled with a negative pressure dust removal system, keeping dust emissions below 10mg/m³, meeting EU environmental standards. The chamber’s inner wall is lined with wear-resistant rubber sheets, preventing impurities from direct friction between fertilizer and metal and extending the equipment’s service life. The discharge port can be adjusted in height to meet downstream production line requirements, allowing direct connection to conveyors or mixing equipment for continuous production.
Operational convenience and safety are also outstanding: the machine is equipped with a PLC control system, supports one-touch start and emergency stop, and provides real-time monitoring of crushing current and output via the touchscreen. Double safety doors automatically shut off the power upon opening to prevent accidents. Universal casters on the bottom of the machine allow for flexible movement to different work areas.
Currently, this equipment has been used by clients including a Polish compound fertilizer plant and an organic fertilizer company in Kazakhstan. Customers in Poland reported that after the equipment went into operation, labor costs for handling ton-bag fertilizers were reduced by 70%, and dust pollution issues were completely resolved.
