Recently, representatives of Zimbabwe Fertilizer Company visited our factory. After several rounds of technical communication and on-site testing, they successfully signed a purchase agreement for BB fertilizer mixer. This equipment will be used in fertilizer processing stations in the main grain-producing areas of the local area to provide customized BB fertilizers for major crops such as corn and tobacco, marking that our precision fertilization equipment officially serves African agriculture.
The BB fertilizer mixer sold this time is a model customized according to the soil characteristics of Zimbabwe. The local soil generally lacks nitrogen and phosphorus elements, and farmers have high requirements for the flexibility of fertilizer formulas. During the test run, the equipment completed the mixing of 1 ton of raw materials in just 3 minutes, and evenly mixed 5 kinds of raw materials such as urea and diammonium phosphate, with a mixing uniformity of 98.5%, far exceeding the customer’s expected 90% standard. By replacing the mixing blades with different apertures, it can also quickly adapt to raw materials in different forms such as powder and granules.
Customers pay special attention to the ease of operation and stability of the equipment. Considering the usage habits of local operators, the equipment is equipped with a bilingual operation interface in Chinese and English, and has 20 sets of fertilization formulas suitable for African crops, including a high-nitrogen formula for corn and a high-potassium formula for tobacco. Operators only need to select the crop type to call up parameters with one click, which greatly reduces the difficulty of operation. During the trial run, the equipment ran for 8 consecutive hours without failure, and the temperature of the mixing motor was stable below 65°C, fully adapting to the high temperature environment in Africa.
“With this mixer, we can produce customized fertilizers on the same day based on the soil test results of different plots.” The head of the cooperative said at the time of signing the contract that in the past, the transportation cycle for purchasing finished fertilizers from South Africa was as long as 15 days, and the formula could not be adjusted. After the new equipment was put into use, the fertilizer production cycle was shortened to 4 hours, and the cost of fertilizer per ton was reduced by US$12. It is expected to drive the yield of 2,000 acres of farmland in the surrounding area to increase by 15%-20%.
From the preliminary soil data survey to the optimization of equipment parameters, our team participated in the whole process. In order to solve the problem of voltage fluctuation in the local power grid, a voltage stabilizer was specially installed; in order to adapt to long-distance transportation, a modular packaging design was adopted to ensure that the equipment arrived in good condition. In the future, 3 years of free technical support and spare parts supply services will be provided.
This cooperation is not only the export of equipment, but also the output of the concept of precision fertilization. We will continue to deepen the African market, optimize equipment according to the agricultural characteristics of different countries, and contribute Chinese equipment strength to global food security.
